Harriett Ford is a veteran reporter/columnist for the Rockford Labor News in Rockford, Illinois.

Of a field of over 11,000 candidates, Harriet placed in the top 100 for Ann Landers' position when the famed advice columnist left the Chicago Sun Times and moved to the Tribune in the late 1980's.

Ford has written the popular Sara and Sadie's Sense and Nonsense, an advice and humor column appearing weekly in the Labor News since 1990.

Her husband of 41 years, John, is the love of her life, along with their two daughters and four grandchildren.

Ms. Ford currently resides in Missouri where she is working on her second book.
